A bit about the life (+work)

Anna Sheffield is an artist, designer and accidental entrepreneur hailing from Northern New Mexico. Best known for her jewelry, Anna creates from a personal and thoughtful place, seeing her work as a form of creative expression informed by curiosity, reverence for nature and a little bit of grit. Each element of her disparate paths–from an adventurous upbringing to her Fine Art training, running a company to traveling the world, along with the spiritual path she’s meandered–is woven into all that she endeavors.

In Anna’s view, the making of things is a process that is foremost attributed to Alchemy, striking a balance of contrasts in the perfectly imperfect. Each of her works are simultaneously talismanic and precious in a way that speaks to objects as imbued with material magic, personal histories and the interplay of levity with the deeply meaningful.

Anna has built two successful women-led brands over her 20+ years in New York and California, and is now based mostly in Taos, N.M. to be near the recently opened LA MAMA cafe+wine bar in Santa Fe.

Committed to a philosophy of sustainable and ethical practices, the Anna Sheffield brand aligns production with diamond and metal reclamation and single origin gem sourcing with the highest caliber of craft.
